How customers pay, the systems you use, and the services you need all shape your payment costs. NACCA helps you understand the components and compare the full arrangement.
Look at the whole picture. How charges are grouped and billed depends on your pricing model and agreement.

These influence the charges below. They are not charges themselves.

1Underlying card costs
Interchange and card-network costs reflected in your processing arrangement.
2Provider charges

Two parts of the pricing conversation
Your processing costs. Your customers’ choices.
Your merchant-services pricing and the prices customers see serve different purposes. Review how they work together in your setup.
How your processing is priced
Interchange-plus pricing
NACCA primarily promotes interchange-plus pricing. This approach distinguishes underlying interchange and network costs from provider charges for payment-processing services.
That separation helps frame questions about the components of your cost. Review recurring charges and any equipment or software costs alongside transaction pricing.
Not every NACCA merchant uses this model. A pricing model alone does not guarantee savings.
Explore presenting available cash, bank/ACH, and card prices before payment. Consider the customer experience alongside invoicing, payment posting, and your processing arrangement.
Our QuickBooks page shows an illustrative invoice and explains the payment choices a supported setup can offer.
Options depend on your approved program and configuration. Pricing and disclosures require review; software and processing charges may still apply.
